World Curling commissions seek nominations

World Curling is seeking nominations for six commissions, including the newly created Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Sustainability Commissions — replacing the previous working groups — that were introduced at the World Curling Congress in the Gold Coast, Australia in September.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission

The newly formed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission is seeking nominations for seven members.

The commission will consist of three members serving an initial two-year term, renewable once for a four-year term; and four members serving an initial four-year term which is also renewable once for a further four-year term.

Sustainability Commission

The newly formed Sustainability Commission is seeking nominations for five members.

The commission members will serve an initial four-year term, renewable once for an additional four-year term.

Finance Commission

The Finance Commission is seeking nominations for one member for a four-year term following the completion of the initial term of an existing member, Margaret Richardson (SCO).

Technical Commission

The Technical Commission is seeking nominations for two members for four-year terms following Greg Ewasko (CAN) and Lajos Belleli (QAT) completing their initial term.

Governance Commission

The Governance Commission is seeking nominations for one member for a four-year term following the completion of the initial term of an existing member, Qu Qiang (CHN).
