Later in the day, they were back in action against Switzerland, who previously defeated Spain, and followed up with another victory as they were 9-7 victors.
Defending champions Sweden got their campaign underway with a 9-5 victory over Norway in the morning, before they were comprehensive 14-1 winners over Spain later in the evening’s session.
