Booster Juice World Junior Mixed Doubles 2026 to begin in Edmonton
After a successful inaugural edition in 2025, the Booster Juice World Junior Mixed Doubles Curling Championship is back for its second year.
The event will take place from 5–10 May at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Last year, Italian duo Lucrezia Grande and Stefano Spiller beat Denmark 8-2 in the final to claim the gold medals and the first ever World Junior Mixed Doubles title.

Teams
This event is open entry with 31 teams set to compete. These teams have been split into four Groups for the round robin.
Group A: Brazil, Czechia, Hong Kong China, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Poland and United States
Group B: Denmark, Spain, Hungary, Nigeria, Norway, Romania, Russia and Switzerland
Group C: Australia, Austria, China, France, Kenya, Korea, Philippines and Scotland
Group D: Canada, England, Finland, Germany, New Zealand, Slovenia and Sweden

Playing format
Round-robin play will begin at 09.00 on Tuesday 5 May and conclude with the last session at 15.00 on Saturday 9 May.
At the end of the round robin, the top two teams from each Group will progress to the quarter-finals and be ranked 1–8 as per World Curling rules. These quarter-final games will take place at 20.00 on Saturday 9 May.
The semi-finals will start at 10.00 on Sunday 10 May, followed by the Bronze and Gold Medal finals at 15.00.
