World Curling Board Election 2026 Candidates
The World Curling Board will feature a number of changes at the Annual General Assembly, being held at the 15th World Curling Congress this September in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Four positions on the Board are available for election, including the Presidency.
President Beau Welling, along with Board Directors, Helena Lingham, Robin Niven, and Sergio Mitsuo Vilela have reached the end of their current terms and are all eligible to stand for re-election.
A call for candidates over the summer saw many leaders in the curling community put their names forward for the available positions.
Candidates were asked to supply their CV, a cover letter, and a video presentation on why they should be elected.
Candidates were then interviewed by the Nominations Committee, who would then recommend both candidates for the Presidency and their limit of six candidates for the Director positions.
