World Curling appoints new Governance Commission members and re-elects Nominations Committee members

World Curling have confirmed the appointment of three full members and one observer member to the Governance Commission while two members of the Nominations Committee were re-elected by the Member Associations for a four-year term.

Governance Commission

Alison Arthur (England), Lisa Peters (Wales) and PN Raju (India) have been appointed to the Governance Commission by the World Curling Board with immediate effect.

Teri Palynchuk (Canada) has been appointed as an observer and will become a full member of the Commission in 2025 once Amy Nixon (Canada) completes her current term of office.

The Governance Commission is chaired by World Curling Vice-President Morten Søgård. The role of the Commission is to review and monitor the Governance of World Curling.

Nominations Committee

Alison Arthur (England) and Mike Ferguson (Scotland) have been re-elected to the Nominations Committee for another four-year term.

The Nominations Committee is chaired by Graham Prouse (Canada) and made up of five members — three of which are elected by the Member Associations. The committee has the remit of soliciting and reviewing nominations for vacancies on the World Curling Board.
