BKT World Women’s Curling Championship 2026 to start in Calgary

World Curling competitive action now turns to Canada as the BKT World Women’s Curling Championship 2026 gets underway on 14 March at the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary, the largest city in Alberta.

WinSport is familiar territory for curling events — it was the venue for both the women’s and men’s championships in 2021 under controlled circumstances as the world recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, it also hosted the Pan Continental Curling Championships in 2022.

This is the 47th edition of the women’s world championship, and will be staged from 14–22 March.
