33 teams to compete for World Mixed Doubles qualification in Dumfries, Scotland
The first event of 2026 will start on Monday when 33 teams travel to Dumfries, Scotland for the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event from 5–10 January 2026.
This event will be the last chance for teams to qualify for the Ace & Company World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2026, set to take place in Geneva, Switzerland in April. The top four teams in the qualification event will earn their Member Associations a spot at this event.
The teams will be split into five groups in which they will play a round robin. At the end of the round robin, the merged group ranking will be established and the 12 top teams from that ranking will advance to the playoffs.
The top four teams get a bye to the second qualification round while teams ranked 5–12 will play the first qualification round. The winners of these games will advance to the second qualification round while the losers are eliminated. The second qualification round will decide which four teams qualify their Member Associations for the Ace & Company World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2026.

Group A: India, Ireland, Kenya, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Netherlands and Slovakia
Group B: Belgium, China, England, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland and Puerto Rico
Group C: Austria, Chinese Taipei, Croatia, Hong Kong China, Jamaica, Thailand and Türkiye
Group D: Spain, France, Guyana, Nigeria, Philippines and Ukraine
Group E: Brazil, Hungary, Latvia, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia.
Based on their results at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2025, the following Member Associations have already qualified for the Ace & Company World Mixed Doubles 2026: Italy, Scotland, Australia, Estonia, United States, Canada, Sweden, Norway, New Zealand, Finland, Switzerland, Korea, Japan, Germany, Denmark and Czechia.
Round-robin play will begin on Monday 5 January at 09:00 and continue until the evening of Friday 9 January. Saturday (10 January) will see all qualification games, with teams ranked 5–12 playing first at 10:00 to determine who will proceed to the games against those ranked 1–4. These games will take place at 15:00.
