Japan, United States and Türkiye women secure spots at World Juniors 2026

The women’s World Junior-B Curling Championships 2025 have concluded in Lohja, Finland, with Japan, United States and Türkiye securing qualification for the World Junior Curling Championships 2026 in Taarnby, Denmark from 24 February – 3 March.

Japan emerged as gold medallists following an undefeated run, and an 8–1 victory over the United States in the championship final.

The bronze medal was decided in a close game between Türkiye and Scotland. Türkiye scored a single in the last end to win 6–4 and earn the final podium position, securing their place at the World Junior Curling Championships 2026.

With these results, Japan, United States and Türkiye complete the list of women’s teams at the World Junior Curling Championships 2026.

Based on their performances at the World Junior Curling Championships 2025, Korea, Germany, Canada, Sweden, China and Switzerland had already confirmed their qualification for 2026. Denmark also qualify as hosts.

The men’s World Junior-B is will take place from 15-20 December.
