Korea regrouped after the break and mounted a steady comeback, highlighted by a four-point seventh end that tied the game at 6–6. The teams traded scores through the late ends and were tied 8–8 after ten, sending the game to an extra end.

In the eleventh, Korean skip Gim Eunji navigated a crowded house and made an angled hit to score three, sealing an 11–8 victory and the bronze medal.

After the match, Gim said, “At the beginning of the game, our performance was a little bit all over the place, and with the score difference at the beginning, we knew that we just needed to believe in ourselves. We didn’t think of the score difference that much, we just kept believing in ourselves and with my teammates, we made it happen.”
