Niels Larsen Obituary
World Curling is saddened to learn of the passing of our former Board Director, Niels Larsen of Denmark following a long illness.
Niels served on the World Curling Board twice, initially from 1996 to 2000 then again from 2006 to 2012, he was also the former President of Danish Curling.
During his time on the World Curling Board, Niels was responsible for development and oversaw the Development Assistance Programme that is still in operation today.
Niels passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones and World Curling offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
