Anti-Doping Case Resolution Agreement: Meggan Dawson-Farrell

Scottish wheelchair curling Athlete, Ms Meggan Dawson-Farrell, tested positive for salbutamol greater than the Decision Limit in both the A-sample and B-sample following an in-competition doping control on 7 March 2024.

World Curling, the World Anti-Doping Agency and Ms Dawson-Farrell have concluded a Case Resolution Agreement in which Ms Dawson-Farrell is sanctioned for an unintentional anti-doping rule violation based on Article 2.1 of the World Curling Anti-Doping Rules.

Ms Dawson-Farrell will now serve a period of Ineligibility of 14 months starting from 13 July 2024.

Ms Dawson-Farrell will be eligible to participate in any activities and competitions as of 13 September 2025 and will be allowed to return to train with a team two months before expiry of the period of Ineligibility as of 13 July 2025.
