Ogden City, Utah to host LGT World Men’s Curling Championship 2026
It has been confirmed that Ogden City, Utah will host the 2026 edition of the LGT World Men’s Curling Championship. The event will be held at the Weber County Ice Sheet from 28 March – 5 April 2026.
The venue, which is part of the Weber State University campus, is located 35 miles north of Salt Lake City.
It opened its doors in 1994 and in 2002, refurbishments were made on the building in preparations to host curling at the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
The Olympic-sized arena provides seating for over 2,300 spectators, and is a training centre for curling, ice hockey and figure skating.
This event will be one of the first major World Curling competitions to follow the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, with increased visibility of the sport and new fans.

World Curling Head of Competitions, Eeva Roethlisberger, said: “We are delighted to be bringing the World Men’s to Utah in 2026.
“This will be the first time Ogden City will host a World Curling event and with their experience in hosting curling during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, we have no doubt they will create the perfect conditions for our athletes and fans.”
Weber County Commission Chair, Sharon Bolos, said: “Weber County is thrilled to host the 2026 World Men’s Curling Championship.
“This is a remarkable opportunity for our community to experience an Olympic sport in their own backyard.”
