Statement: Briane Harris Anti-Doping case decision

Today, (Tuesday 14 January 2025), the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Anti-Doping Division rendered its decision in the matter of World Curling against Ms Briane Harris (Canada).

Ms Harris was found to have committed an anti-doping-rule violation in accordance with articles 2.1 and 2.2 of the World Curling Anti-Doping Rules (the “WCF ADR”) but bears no fault or negligence, therefore no period of Ineligibility was imposed.

The provisional suspension has been lifted with immediate effect. The decision of the CAS Anti-Doping Division is subject to appeal to the CAS Appeals Division and will therefore not be published for the time being.
