Korea, Latvia and China women secure spots at World Junior Curling Championships 2025
Korea earned the women’s World Junior-B gold after beating silver medallists Latvia 7-3 at the World Junior-B Curling Championships 2024 on Thursday (19 December) in Lohja, Finland.
China were third to qualify after defeating Scotland 8-4 and taking home the bronze medal.
As a result, Korea, Latvia and China have now qualified for next year’s World Junior Curling Championships which are to be held in Cortina, Italy from 12-21 April 2025.

The 2025 championships will be a test event for the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games 2026.
The women’s teams to compete in the World Juniors 2025 are: Switzerland, Japan, Norway, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Italy (hosts), Korea, Latvia and China.
Last week, the final three men’s teams qualified for the championships.
The men’s teams are: Norway, Italy (hosts), Denmark, United States, Germany, Scotland, Canada, Korea, Switzerland and Japan.
