Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic curling schedules confirmed
The official schedules for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 have now been confirmed. All eyes will be on curling from two days prior to the opening ceremony, as the only sport being played for every day of the Games.
Non-stop curling
From 4-22 February, the Olympic Winter Games will take place at multiple prestigious locations across Italy, with the Paralympic Winter Games to follow between 4-15 March.
All curling will be held at the Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium, Cortina d’Ampezzo. This historic venue was built to host the 1956 Olympic Winter Games, the first winter Games to be broadcasted live on television. The stadium sits in front of the picturesque Ampezzo Dolomites and is part of the Cortina cluster that is also the location for Alpine Skiing and Para Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh, Luge, Skeleton and Para Snowboard. The Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium will also be the venue for the Paralympic Closing Ceremony.
There are curling medals up for grabs across three Olympic events and two Paralympic events: Mixed Doubles, Men team, Women team, Wheelchair Mixed team and Wheelchair Mixed Doubles.
Mixed Doubles
Curling fans can enjoy two extra days of action before the Games officially begin, with the Mixed Doubles round robin starting on Wednesday (4 February). Medal games for this event will take place on Tuesday (10 February).
Men’s and women’s competition
Men’s team round-robin play will then kick off on Wednesday (11 February), with the women’s round-robin beginning the day after Thursday (12 February). The men’s bronze medal match will take place on Friday (20 February), with the women’s bronze and men’s gold to follow on Saturday (21 February). The Olympic Winter Games curling events will conclude on Sunday (22 February) with the women’s gold medal game.
Wheelchair curling
Just like the Olympic Winter Games, the Paralympics will start two days before the opening ceremony. On Wednesday (4 March), the Wheelchair Mixed Doubles round robin will begin, concluding on Wednesday (11 March) with the medal games.
The Wheelchair Mixed event’s round-robin play will start on Saturday (7 March), with the bronze medal clash taking place on Friday (13 March) and the gold medal game to follow on Saturday (14 March).
The Paralympic closing ceremony will be held at Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium on Sunday (15 March).
