World Curling begins search for Olympic season event hosts
World Curling is now taking bids for the events in the 2025–2026 season.
The event calendar during an Olympic and Paralympic season is different to a regular season, with two additional events added to the calendar — the Pre-Olympic Qualification Event and the Olympic Qualification Event that will award the final places for the Mixed Doubles, Women’s and Men’s events at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
With the addition of these two events into the calendar, the World Curling Board have made the decision to not hold the World Mixed Curling Championship in this season. It will return to the event calendar in the 2026–2027 season.
As with previous cycles, during the Paralympic season the wheelchair curling world championships do not occur. They will all return to the event calendar in the 2026–2027 season.
