Canada women win World Junior-B gold

Canada women claimed gold at the World Junior-B Curling Championships after defeating Scotland, 5-4, in the championship final. The Canadians finished their campaign with a perfect 8-0 record.

In the bronze medal game, Korea scored a single point in the final end against Türkiye to win, 11-10.

Canada, Scotland and Korea have all secured spots in the World Junior Curling Championships 2023 in Fuessen, Germany from 25 February – 4 March.

The women’s World Junior field is now complete [in qualification order]: Japan, Sweden, United States, Norway, Switzerland, Latvia, Canada, Scotland, Korea and Germany (hosts).

Last week, the men’s competition concluded, where China, Italy and Türkiye secured their places at the World Junior’s.
