United Arab Emirates joins World Curling as Conditional Member
World Curling is pleased to welcome United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the latest Conditional Member Association following approval from the World Curling Board.
This brings the total number of Member Associations to 78.
World Curling President, Beau Welling said, “We are very happy to welcome the UAE to the World Curling family as our 78th Member Association. We sincerely believe they will be important partners in our efforts to grow curling in the region and around the world.”
Juma Al Dhaheri, UAE Winter Sports Federation Secretary General said, “We are proud to join World Curling and to take this important step in the continued development of winter sports in the United Arab Emirates. This membership will strengthen our efforts to grow curling, develop our athletes and create new opportunities for the sport across the UAE and the region.”
