2026–2027 World Curling Calendar

World Curling can confirm the 2026–2027 season calendar, setting the stage for another year of international competition across the sport.

The new campaign gets underway at the start of October, as athletes head to Colorado in the United States for the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2026–2027. Held at Rock Creek Curling, curlers will compete for the opportunity to qualify for January’s competition in Lohja.

Later that month, we head to Ostrava for the first time as the city hosts Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships 2026. This will be the first event staged under World Curling’s new 2026–2030 Olympic cycle competition structure and the first to include 12 teams.

November will see both the World Championship Qualifiers take place. First up, the Men’s qualification competition takes place in Aberdeen between 8–13 November. The Women’s qualification event takes place between 21–26 November in Östersund, Sweden.

Lohja in Finland host the next three World Curling competitions, stretching from November to January. The World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship, the World Junior-B Curling Championships, and the World Mixed Double Curling Championship will all take place at The Kisakallio Campus.

Continuing through 2027, the World Junior Curling Championships will take place in Aberdeen between 6–14 February. Later that month, we head back to The Kisakallio Campus as Lohja hosts the World Wheelchair Curling Championship and the World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.

Attention then turns to the World Women’s Curling Championship. The competition will take place between 13–21 March, with the venue of the competition to be confirmed in due course. Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada plays host to our next competition, as the BKT World Men’s Curling Championship takes place between 26 March – 4 April.

As we head towards the latter stages of the season, the World Mixed Curling Championship 2026–2027 will be held in Penticton, Canada between 3–10 April. The World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2027 will be held in Winnipeg, Canada between 10–17 April 2027.

The venues for the World Senior Curling Championships (held 24 April – 1 May) as well as the World Junior Mixed Doubles Curling Championships (held 4–10 May) will be confirmed in due course.

The 2026–2027 World Curling season will come to a close with two  World Championship Pre-Qualifiers taking place in early May.
