Rock Creek Curling set to host World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event
Rock Creek Curling, based in Lafayette, Colorado in the United States will play host to the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2026 taking place from 2–9 October 2026.
Rock Creek Curling, a six-sheet dedicated curling facility, opened in 2021 and recently hosted the 2026 US Olympic Team Trials for Mixed Doubles.
The World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2026 is the first of two editions of this event in the 2026–2027 season following the calendar restructure.
This edition of the championship will qualify teams for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2027 taking place in Lohja, Finland from 4–10 January 2027.
Eeva Röthlisberger, World Curling Head of Competitions said, “We are delighted to be taking one of our championships to Rock Creek Curling. They’ve shown that they can successfully host major events with the US Olympic Trials for Mixed Doubles, and we are confident that they’re ready to take the next step and host international events.”
