Playing schedules confirmed for wheelchair curling at Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games

With just 23 weeks until wheelchair curling returns to the global stage, the official playing schedule has been confirmed.

Wheelchair curling is one of six Paralympic sports included at the prestigious event, which runs from 4–15 March 2026.

All National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) have secured their places in both disciplines at the Games — eight in wheelchair mixed doubles and ten in wheelchair mixed team.

Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Competition

The Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games will kick off at 19:05 on Wednesday 4 March — two days before the Opening Ceremony — with the wheelchair mixed doubles round robin.

Round-robin play will continue until the afternoon of Monday 9 March, where those teams that placed 1–4 will proceed to the semi-finals. The semi-final games will take place at 14:35 on Tuesday 10 March, and will see first place play fourth, and second place take on third.

The wheelchair mixed doubles competition will conclude on Wednesday 11 March with the medal games. Both the bronze and gold medal games will take place at 14:35.

Wheelchair Mixed Team Competition

The wheelchair mixed team competition will begin on Saturday 7 March, with the first round-robin draw beginning at 09:35.

Round-robin play will conclude on the evening of Thursday 12 March, and the teams to progress to the semi-finals will be determined. The semi-finals will take place the following day (Friday 13 March) at 10:05 where the team to place first at the end of the round robin will take on fourth placed and second will face third place.

Later that day the bronze medal game will take place at 18:35. Saturday 14 March will see the final wheelchair mixed team game, where the top two teams will compete for the gold medal and Paralympic title at 15:05.
