Women’s teams set for World Junior-B
The final event of 2024 will commence this Sunday (15 December) in Lohja, Finland where 21 women’s teams will compete in the World Junior-B Curling Championship 2024. This is the last chance for teams to qualify for the World Junior Curling Championships 2025, which will take place Cortina, Italy from 12-21 April 2025.
The event will conclude on Thursday (19 December) where the three medallists will earn their places at the World Junior event next year.
Switzerland, Japan, Norway, Canada, Sweden, Germany and Italy (hosts) have all qualified for the World Junior Curling Championship 2025 as a result of their performance at last year’s iteration.

The 21 teams have been split into three groups where they will compete in a round-robin format. The top two from each group, plus the two third overall ranked teams with the better Draw Shot Challenge, will qualify for the quarter-finals.
