Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games Teams Confirmed

The qualification for the curling competitions at the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games has now been set.

The event hosts a Mixed Team Championship and a Mixed Doubles Championship with teams qualifying through points earned at world championships, through a regional quota place or as the National Olympic Committee with the most points outside these initial criteria.

Qualification Points were earned for Great Britain by Scotland for each of these championships.

The Mixed Team Championship features 16 teams (qualified by region):

Hosts: Korea
Africa: Nigeria
Americas: Brazil, Canada and United States
Asia: China and Japan
Europe: Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Türkiye
Oceania: New Zealand

The Mixed Doubles championship features 24 teams (qualified by region):

Hosts: Korea
Africa: Nigeria
Americas: Brazil, Canada and United States
Asia: China, Japan and Kazakhstan
Europe: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye and Ukraine
Oceania: New Zealand
West Asia Region: Qatar

The curling championship at the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games run from 21 January until 2 February at the Gangneung Curling Centre, which was home to the curling competitions of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
