The World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event is open to any Member Associations not already qualified for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. Four teams qualify from this event.
2019 is the first edition of this qualification event. Formally, the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was an open entry event.
