The World Senior Curling Championships are open entry for teams from each gender from the World Curling Federation 64 Member Associations. The players must not be less than 50 years of age by the end of the 30^th day of June of the year immediately preceding the year in which the World Senior Curling Championships take place.

The World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship is for teams, of one female and one male player, from the World Curling Federation’s Americas, European and Pacific-Asia zones. It is where teams gain qualification points for the Olympic Winter Games.

The LGT World Women’s Curling Championship is for 14 women’s teams from the World Curling Federation’s Americas, European and Pacific-Asia zones and is where teams gain qualification points for the Olympic Winter Games.

The Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships are for women’s and men’s teams from the World Curling Federation’s European zone. These championships qualify teams for the World Curling Championships and World Qualification Event.
