We’re really happy with how things are looking for us so far. We’ve got a tough game tomorrow against Sweden, but we’ve been there before, so we’ll see how it goes.”

Norway skip Steffen Walstad came up short with his last draw of the eighth end to give up a steal of two to Switzerland.
The Swiss are now leading by 6-3.

Winning quotes
Daniela Jentsch (GER): “We’re playing very well so far and we’re feeling great. It’s nice to start with two wins, for sure.
“Our team is just curling great, and the team dynamic is amazing. I think we’re having lots of fun out there which helps a lot. It’s all about the spirit that we bring onto the ice, that’s the key to the game for us these days.”
Rebecca Morrison (SCO): “We were in control from the beginning. A steal of two in the second end really set us up for the whole game. From there we just made sure we got the rocks in good spots and made sure we didn’t slack off later in the game.
“We’re really chuffed to get those two wins.”
