In order to ensure the biggest possible exposure within the television markets throughout Europe and to promote the sport and sports participation, specifically to allow an increase in the viewership in Great Britain and Sweden, the timing of the Olympic men’s Gold Medal final has been rescheduled to 14:50 Beijing Standard Time (BST) on Saturday 19 February. This is a 45 minute delay to the originally scheduled start time.

To accommodate the time change, and in consultation with the teams, the men’s Victory Ceremony will now take place at the conclusion of the Gold Medal final within the National Aquatics Centre, rather than the Beijing Medals Plaza.

The women’s Bronze Medal game will take place afterwards at the original start time of 20:05 BST.
