Change to number of World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship Qualified Teams

Following the decision of the Board to accept the recommendation of the Competition & Rules and Athlete Commissions to run the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2022 as a 16 team event, an objection was received from a number of Member Associations.

Following the objection, the Board reviewed the decision and has agreed to a proposed 20 team championship. The remaining places will be awarded to the four next highest ranked Member Associations on the World Rankings not already qualified for the championship.
