STATEMENT: Positive COVID-19 case detected at World Junior-B Championships

After developing symptoms, an athlete from the Hungarian junior men’s team has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of their opening game at the World Junior-B Curling Championships 2022.

The individual and the remaining members of the team have now been isolated awaiting confirmatory PCR testing and will forfeit their opening game, scheduled to take place at 19:00 on Monday (3 January) evening.
