Due to the continuing challenges caused by COVID-19 — especially in relation to international travel restrictions — and following extensive consultation, the World Curling Federation have agreed to suspend the awarding of points in the World Curling Team Rankings List until 31 October 2020.
While many countries are restricted from travelling to events, it was felt that awarding points and putting undue pressure on teams to travel to competitions for ranking purposes was unfair.
This decision will be reviewed on a regular basis to determine whether the points suspension will be extended beyond October, and further updates will be provided where necessary.
