After 15 sessions of round-robin play, the World Senior Curling Championships 2016 tables are becoming clearer.
In the men's sections, Switzerland are clear leaders in Group A, adding a 13-1 victory over Belgium to their three previous wins. Germany, on three wins, thanks to their 7-5 win over the Czech Republic, are chasing, having played one game less.
In Group B, Canada lead the way. They had a 13-3 win over the Netherlands, which included a six-pointer in the third end of their evening game. In second place behind them are Ireland, who had an 11-3 victory over Slovakia on Monday afternoon.
England and New Zealand are tied at the top of men's Group C. They both recorded wins on Monday, with England taking their turn to be awarded a walk-over over absent Turkey, and New Zealand coming out on top against Australia, by 7-5.
In the women's event, Canada and England share top spot in Group A - Canada beat Finland by 13-3, while England had a 10-3 victory over Japan. Top spot is also shared in the women's Group B, with Scotland and USA battling it out.
Scotland had an 8-1 win over Austria in just six ends, while USA were taken all the way by Switzerland, before they won by 8-5.
