TIEBREAKER: CANADA v NORWAY 8-4

Canada knocked Norway out of contention for a place in the junior men’s playoffs at the World Junior Curling Championships winning their tiebreaker game 8-4 on Friday afternoon.

Jake Walker’s team had the upper hand throughout much of the game with Norway’s Steffen Mellemseter managing to tie the score up 4-4 in the seventh end. Canada went on to take three points in the eighth end and steal of one in the ninth to win the game.

Canada will now meet Switzerland in the 3 v 4 playoff scheduled for midday on Saturday.
