The World Curling Federation expresses its great sadness over of the death of Arleen Day. Arleen died on Tuesday, in Regina, Canada, after a long fight against cancer. She was 63.

The world of curling is deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of Elizabeth Busche. The junior US curler from Duluth, Minnesota, died of a rare cancer on Thursday 3 May at the age of 19.
