The World Curling Federation and its marketing partner, Infront Sports & Media, can confirm that Swiss watchmakers, Edox et Vista SA – commonly referred to as Edox – will once again be the official timekeepers of the Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships in 2017.

The event, which will take place in St Gallen, in north east Switzerland, between 17 and 25 November and will be one of the final international curling championships before the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games in February 2018.

Edox has partnered with the World Curling Federation since the European Curling Championships in Stavanger, Norway in 2013. In 2016, Edox revealed a limited-edition World Curling Federation timepiece, which is still available for sale today - http://www.worldcurling.org/edox-curling-watch

As official timekeepers of the event, Edox, will have extensive brand exposure in the venue, Eissportzentrum Lerchenfeld, and across media and broadcast outlets covering the championships.

World Curling Federation President, Kate Caithness, said: “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Edox and welcome them on board once again for the European Curling Championships.

“All eyes will be on St Gallen in November, as the European teams selected to represent their Member Associations at the Olympic Winter Games will go head-to-head one last time before taking to the ice at PyeongChang 2018.”
