China & Japan qualify for World Juniors 2011

The Chinese junior men’s team and Japanese junior women’s team have won the finals of the 2011 Pacific Junior Curling Championships (PJCC) in Naseby, New Zealand and secured the World Curling Federation Pacific Region spots at the World Junior Curling Championships 2011.

China beat Korea 8-4 in the junior men’s final and Japan clinched a 4-3 win against Korea in the junior women’s final.

Earlier in the week, at the 2011 European Junior Curling Challenge in Prague, Czech Republic, it was the Czech junior men’s team and Norwegian junior women that won the final European spots at the World Junior Curling Championships.
