Are you interested in coaching or being an instructor?

Already a coach or instructor, want to improve your skills, have fun, meet new friends and complete the World Curling Academy Coach Level 1 certification this summer?

Here is a great opportunity for you then!

Be a leader at the Lillehammer Youth Curling camp this summer!

The camp will host eight teams from around the world, consisting of two females, two males and a coach per team.

The main purpose of the camp is to equip the teams with valuable knowledge that they can take back home. The camp will include sessions such as technique, strategy, fitness and nutrition, among others. This unique opportunity will give the leaders a chance to support the coaches and work closely with the athletes.

A total of five leader positions are available. Leaders will be responsible for creating and delivering activities on and off the ice.

Location: Lillehammer, Norway

Arrival: Saturday 19 August 2023

Departure: Friday 25 August 2023

Your return travel costs are covered, including public transportation to/from Oslo and Lillehammer. Hotel costs are covered and food is provided.

Prerequisites:

  • Age limit: 18–22 years
  • Complete the World Curling Academy online Technical Coach Level 1 course (by the time of the camp’s start)
  • Good English skills (both speaking and writing), effective communicator, organiser, problem solver, team player
