The World Curling Federation Executive Board have confirmed the creation of two new working groups and filled the Board appointed places on the Competition and Rules Commission.
Competition and Rules Commission
Following the recent elections of the initial three places on the Competition and Rules Commission the Board were tasked to fill the remaining three places on the commission.
The Board unanimously accepted the three recommended applicants and confirmed that Hans Frauenlob (NZL), Susan Kesley (SCO) and Kusui Yuhei (JPN) will join the commission.
The Competition and Rules Commission is:

Elected
Paul Ahlgren (Sweden)
Katja Kiiskinen (Finland)

Kusui Yuhei (Japan)
The term for both the elected and appointed positions on the commission are for a full four-year Olympic cycle.
Athlete Commission elections
The timing of the Athlete Commission elections has been altered to avoid elections taking place in the year before the next Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The election process will be pushed back by one year to remove this issue. Those athlete representatives whose term was set to end in 2023 will have their term extended until 2024.
The new process is as follows:
Elections in 2024: Two female athlete representative positions — one athlete for a two-year term and the other for a four-year term. One mixed doubles athlete representative position for a four-year term. One male athlete representative position for a four-year term.
All following elections will be for four-year terms.
Elections in 2026: One female athlete representative position. One wheelchair curling athlete representative position. One male athlete representative position.
Elections in 2028: One female athlete representative position. One mixed doubles athlete representative position. One male athlete representative position.
New Working Groups
The Board have also confirmed the creation of two new working groups — the DEI and Sustainability committees.
The DEI Committee is made up of:
