Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games wheelchair curling schedule announced

The playing schedule for wheelchair curling event at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games has been released. Round-robin games will take place from Saturday 5 March until Saturday 12 March in the National Aquatics Centre, known as the Ice Cube.

The field includes: China, Canada, Estonia, Great Britain, Korea, Latvia, Norway, RPC, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and United States.

Schedule overview

On the opening day of the Games, reigning Paralympic Champions and hosts, China, will face 2018 bronze medallists, Canada, at 14:35. The 2018 silver medallists from Norway will meet Great Britain in their opener at the same time.

Round-robin play will continue until Thursday 10 March and will feature three sessions a day at 09:35, 14:35 and 19:35 (with the exception of the opening day where there is no 09:35 session).

On Friday 11 March, the semi-finals will be played at 14:35 with 2v3 and 1v4 facing off. The bronze medal game will be played after the semi-finals, at 19:35.

The gold medal game will be on Saturday 14:35.
